Leadership

About four years ago, Pastor Casey Franklin felt called to start a new faith community in the south Denver Metro area.

Casey is humbled and honored by this mission that comes ultimately from God Himself. The calling was to create a safe place for people to explore faith and doubt in the context of Christian community.

Originally from Minneapolis, Casey has been a Pastor for over 20 years serving in various capacities. As a published author, theologian, and raconteur, Casey loves reading, hockey, snow shoeing, mountain biking and writing.

Most importantly, he has a heart for those who are not interested in church, either because they never were, or have "dropped out" for one reason or another. Casey is married to Valerie who grew up in Colorado and loves photography, working out, and also loves leading worship. Their daughter Madison is an equestrian, actress, writer, and is now learning the guitar.

The Franklins have lived in the Highlands Ranch area for the last 13 years and love Colorado and this community. The movement of churches that we are apart of, the ECC, provides coaching, support and oversight until we are self-sustaining and are able to have our own Leadership Team in place. Until then, we are blessed to have a Core Team of committed leaders who provide leadership, support and encouragement.
